How do I move my XOOPS site from one host to another? What do I need to backup and transfer?

- Back up your data base with phpMyAdmin
- Import old database to new database on new host
- Copy your root folder from old site to new
- CHMOD the following folders: /uploads, /templates_c, & /cache
- *VERY IMPORTANT* Edit mainfile.php to reflect your new XOOPS root, db user and pass.
- CHMOD mainfile.php to 444 after editing
- Have a shmoke and a pancake, your done! (or a bong and a blintz, your choice)

- Use XOOPS search for anything else you need. This has been covered from every possible angle. The information you need is right here in the forums.
