Re: Proposal: Towards A Sustainable Open Source Project

IM would be great, except I doubt you'd be very talkative at 4am ... Me either for that matter.

Ok - please also indicate what instant messenger you prefer (in your PMs to me). Let's go with whatever is the most popular and the rest of us can install it :)

It's more just for confirming points between us, like they suck or that stinks ...It then means less response on here, as people have a shoulder to on.....
Also for error fixing it makes it far easier and less public to make quick reports....

That on error fixes though needs addressing, with a perfect management system with all errors and fixes cleanly, easily, seen next to any module....with an assessment team to implement the correct fix in the downloads.

I advise Pidgin then we have all systems in one go....also IRC to access the #xoops chat room....

google is the only one I have on all the time... iChat (AIM) is a good second bet.
Can do MSN or Yahoo if I really have to...

I might be wrong, but if the keys were in the hands of phppp the server, he already could create the sub-domains and receive some of the work here in xoops.org

Sorry they were not in my hand.
Hope the issues will be solved one by one soon.

Funny to remember that one

I've already accepted invitation and some time ago share with dev team
that I'm not for titles or 'power positions' but open source spirit
I will be glad to share experiences from other open source projects.
A litle was done with frenchies but i'm sure a lot more can be done

Before any other step, you need a clean environment of freedom!
So, first it should be fixed that issue with the foundation 'club'
that controls addons domain and the project server.
Which is creating a negative situation "to be needed"
to face such imposed 'necessity' history has showed
that first comes the revolution, then a new government.
Finally, with all respect, Ono as the founder of xoops.org
and xoopscube.org should keep both domains.
Either interfering with development
Ono also prove with time to be a trusted person.

Have fun, it is a power game!

I like people more than machines or money. But that's me!
Lets do something good and great: Lets do open source!

Damaster, it's you who create negativeness.. go back to XOOPS Cube where you are happy. you do nopt use XOOPS and instead you use XOOPS Cube which is not xoops, and you will not use XOOPS because you are so proud and think XOOPS Cube is superior. so go back to your superior XC.

you're an idiot who thinks he can use other peoples accounts as a toy, in fact you treat XOOPS as a toy to play on and accuse people etc.. you login to other peoples accounts and pretend to be them, and then you expect people to be civil towards you?

if you want to help xoops, say bye bye, and go back to xoopscube.
