Re: Proposal: Towards A Sustainable Open Source Project

@ MadFish

Please be sure to let us know where should we add items for inclusion in the agenda.
And, do we have a representative from the Foundation in our list of proposed team members?

Ok you got in just before I sent the list. I have also lodged the objections that have been raised with DJ, including the reasons that have been given, and asked him to make a decision on them.

I want to make one thing clear to everyone: Personal issues are not going to be on the agenda. We'll be talking about structures and procedures, not individuals. Please come prepared for a constructive debate. Thanks.

Crip: I'll ask people to email their comments back to me, and then circulate the 'amended' agenda a second time for the team's approval.

I have almost no knowledge of php and some what decent knowledge of html, i like XOOPS a lot for the fact that its by far the most user friendly cms for a non-coder. I will like to contribute to XOOPS development in anyways possible. So do let me know.

I have read a couple of post about Damaster(i only know what i have read), but if its true that he hacked into peoples account, thats a very serious issue friends. Because this in itself considered a crime in many countries. Even i think nominating him to the committee is a very wrong, in fact he still not being banned is a cause of concern here. Its common sense to not allow people like him to get away with their wrongs. Again i dont know Damaster personally, so if the post i had read about him were wrong then i take all my words back.

And please let me know if theres a way i can help.

Humm...
If a friend ask me help, should I refuse?
Known that I like fight the evil in life as on the web
for freedom and that the truth could be known and evolve.
Couldn't refuse. How i distinguish? Quite easy. 3 years
facing hidden people behind anonymous avatars. Development frozen.
Lies, money, power, politics to manipulate and divide
community to increase adds revenues on their own smart
'sites for info'.

All that is what the next team has to clean up for the next team
and that to prevent such issues to happen again.

Maybe it is a crazy and seek job. Maybe it is not so bad and mad!

So, if your jut out prejudices for a 'supposed' place,
I doubt you're on the good side and that you're able to help
and know what to do or where to go.
Anyway, I leave you volontier that place.

You should be aware that I never run for a chair or a title,
and that you will have to stand up... with your prejudices!

Well, I've teasing enough to made the hidden evil point his head out,
plans and fears It is up to you now !

If you ever get it free to drive away, Have Fun !

@Damaster,
You do have a way with words...

I certainly hope we are parting ways as friends and you will keep a watchful eye over the comings and goings on over here.

When you are no longer interested, we could be in trouble.

Keep in touch.

BTW: does this mean I take you off the volunteer list for now??? -->> List

Wise! Let me ask, now that you have some pratice with organigrams, do you think this model or xoopscube.org one could be placed side-below-side to provide an overall vision of the existing possibilities, as "two models in pratice".

Thanks

Well since you challenge me, here are the results of my work on the proposed models:

Proposal I1 (Damaster/(Orpheus model))
Resized Image

Proposal I2 (Damaster/(XoopsCube – OGRE model))
Resized Image

What I still cannot understand:
- Have you nominated and accepted to help?
- Which is your specific proposal besides the mentioned models?
