Heyyy everybody xoopers))
I've got little problem with the installation of DMS Document Management System
1 Sql script was not correct syntaxis
I've fixed it
2 When I've installed the dms module there was nothing on pages


Maybe somebody know what to do???

If you turn the debug option on - in system admin - site preferences - general settings and see what the error message is.
I use this module on a couple of sites and had a similar problem when 1 of the files was missed on transfer to the webspace!! Uploading the file cured the problem.

I'm trying to get DMS to run on php5 and XOOPS 2.3.2b

I've seen the post about modifying the file mysql.sql but wonder if I understood it right...

all the values that were written as '' should be modified to '0', right? There were many!

anyway, I did that but still get blank pages.

The error I get is as follow:
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /home/blahblah/public_html/modules/dms/inc_pal_xoops.php on line 70

(line 70 says "70 $this->$num_rows = mysql_num_rows($result);")

All files seem to be present.

Any ideas as to what I'm doing wrong?

Basically::

$this->$num_rows would use the value of $num_rows to decide which property of $this to look up. I would have to have a look at the code to give you a proper fix for this.

Thanks for posting, Catz. I can paste the whole of inc_pal_xoops.php here, if that's any good, or would you need to see other files too?
