No matter in which Module, when I want to enter a Date using the Date-picker (selector) nothing happens. I can only enter a date by typing it.

I checked, but Java is enabled in my browser. Even when I switch themes I can't enter a date using the Datepicker.
What can I do to fix this?

Tested here on XOOPS 2.4.1 with Zetagenesis theme and News 1.64 with submit article (/modules/news/submit.php). Below there is the setting for publishing and expiration time. No problems with the calendar popups.
Did you modify some CSS files? On which place is your calendar failing?
Do you have debug messages?

I had this same error some months ago. My reason was some missing line in the theme.html file of my own Theme, that i create. So the Javascript was not load correctly.
The best way, verify every line from a default theme.html and yours. Maybe you can find some differents, especially at the beginning of this file, where the html settings are written.

Good Luck!!

I noticed that my browser shows the following Error (I translated it from Dutch):

Anyone knows what I should do?

Tested here on XOOPS 2.4.1, different admin themes and
- News 1.64, publicate date and expire date of articles
- Smartsection 2.14 creation date of categories and articles
- Extcal 2.22, start and end date of events

For all modules the same problems with the calendar popups: there is now popup popping up.

My browser (IE7 and FF 3.5) shows the same error quoted by Willemd.

No XOOPS debug information or errors. It was not in XOOPS 2.3.1.

Hmm i had some problems with the new calendar/select date, there where missing language files for the calendar (class/calendar)

Be sure that you have the right language check the language directory for your own language file, or make a new one !

To check this set your default language to english and try it again

I saw that some modules (eg exctal) works like 01/01/2009 but when i select this from the calender this changes in 01-01-2009 format is this correct ?

Solved:

The language file was missing in class\calendar\JSCal2\JSCal2\src\js\lang

After adding the right language file the date selector worked :)

Thanks.

After Adding the correct language file (dutch) the date selector worked fine in News, extcal and Smartsection.
