Dear sir,

I'm new in this cms environment. I manage to get this XSAS server and successfully instal but it's running localhost. I can't view from other pc that running in same network & same subnet mask. For example, the server running XSAS ip address 192.168.1.1 and the other pc running 192.168.1.2.

Please help me

XOOPS runs on most webservers, the XSAS package is meant as a localhost development or testing or demo environment, not as a live webserver. However, you might want to rename the .htaccess file in the site root (w:/www/ folder) to @.htaccess or something similar, because in it there's an apache directive that denies from all except localhost.

Hi msh1972,

XSAS is meant to be used locally, to test XOOPS sites in local. If you look at W:\www\.htaccess, you see this :
# This file provides security to the server limiting acces to the localhost only

Order Deny,Allow
Deny from all
Allow from 127.0.0.1

If you change the information of that file, and you change the information of mainfile.php on your site to reflect the real XOOPS Virtual Path (URL), you will be able to access your site from another computer.

Hope this helps !
