We just launched a site that we donated to a good cause.

Please look over the benefit site and let me know what you think.

There was little time to get this together, due to the fact that the benefit will be in two weeks. We also designed a matching poster.

In the common utilities, under images, I can add a new category.

When I attempt to add an image, I can browse and select an image, but it just hangs. There is no real visible progress in the loader bar and no error.

This was done in Firefox 3.6.3 & IE 8

Thanks. You guys have been quick to put me on the right track.

Can I provide the design (PSD) files and find someone to help take it onward? Any recommendations?

...Or is there a different way that you'd prefer to see me handle this project.

Finally, is there a repository of the XOOPS logos, maybe in .eps? (Since I'm assuming that we should brand the solution appropriately.)

Thanks for all of the help.

I feel like I'm walking on eggshells around this topic, but what restrictions, if any, are there in creating a clean (more basic, less forum-centric) Admin GUI for my typical, "I have 6 pages, a contact form, a news module & a testimonial on each of my pages...and don't understand CMS, but know how to use MS-Word" client?

This was my previous, home-grown, pre-Xoops direction:

Resized Image

Horizontal Nav & control for the current options. This is an idea of what I'd like to get to for the average simple site...but not sure if I am crossing the line with the powers that be.

Please understand, I'm working with a developer and the choices that I am being shown don't give me much hope, but the community itself energizes me quite nicely. (I'm just picking myself up after going off on my own.)

Thanks.

Is there anyone on the forum who specializes in creating (er, modernizing??) the back-end or administrative GUI?

I'm not seeing much & perhaps others can weigh in on why this seems to be the case.

Thanks.

I have the design completed.

It will require some AJAX and some guidance from the community, but I hope to have it ready as a showcase site in the coming month:

I haven't found any references doing a search.

Have anyone used XOOPS to create a single page (extra wide) layout. Where the menu will scroll from section to section?

Sample sites include:
