OLD modules not working with NEW xoops 2.3

some of the older modules i would like to use arent working with 2.3 version of xoops... this makes me sad... is there something i can do or change to make it work

if u need some help, ive gotten some bits of code that changes certain things in the news module to display by date or by alphabetical order along with a A-Z selectable links

hey i just want to let everyone know that trabis is the best, he has helped me out on several occasions on a site im working on. he doesnt ask for money, but he is definitely worth donating to cuz he rocks!

im not sure if this will help, but on my site i use <{if !$xoops_isuser}>SHOW SOMETHING HERE <{else}> SHOW SOMETHING ELSE <{/if}> in my theme so only certain things show up when a user logs in, im sure you could use it to show something if a particular user with a certain group access logs in... hope this sparks someone with a little more know how to further help him

under news display layout it displays either by date published or grouped by topic. but i want it to show up alphabetized by story title under each topic. i will paypal someone $10 if they have a solution to this

I would like to alphabetize my news listings by article title when they come up under their topic in the news module. I have created a coupon website athttp://desotonow.com u can login with login: demo pass:demo and would like to have the coupons alphabetized like the categories are under the topics directory. Help would be appreciated.
