onto problem #2....

I can upload through the module files I want to be part of the Downloads page no problem.

If I FTP up a file to a directory on my web host, then manually add the address (-iehttp://XXXXX.com/x/uploads/brad.zip) I get an error. I did give excute rights to the brad.zip also.

The error I get is a simple "he page you tried to access does not exist on this server. This page may not exist due to the following reasons: "

any help would be appreciated for manually attaching a download to the download module.

I'm completely confused, but here goes....

It works now. all I did was uninstall and reinstall it. Now all is well... Oh well. Thanks.

xoop - 2.0.18
Fresh install

If I add a file to down via admin, I can see the file.

If I try and download it, I get this error...

"the URL is not valid and can not be loaded"

If I try to add another file that is completely different via admin interface, I get this error...
"ERROR: The download info you provided is already in the database!"

Please advise....

thank you

If I have 2 content blocks, A and B, and have them postition in the block manager matrix below...

A B x

So that they are next to each other on a page.

Most of the time they will appear on the pages as...

A x x
B x x

Sometimes they will appear properly however. If I check the config, they are still configed properly even though they dont alway display properly. I see no reason for this especially since this is all being done from the same display/workstation.

Any ideas?

first off, thank you for all the help. I've got alot of threads out there :)

xoops 2.0.18.1
webphoto .30

I successfully installed the module.
I did not need to define the trust path since it was already done from Protector mod.

When I go into the module I see everything, but whenever I click a link, for example "Add Photo", I get a blank page that says "No input file specified."

I've created the folders the preferences of the module ask for, but I'm still stumped. I've read the instructions, but no dice.

Thank you.

thankyou! I'll give all that a try.

you may also look for a better place for your trust path - if you have protected folder outside your site

as for this... your saying I need a folder that isn't even part of my www.MYSITE.com? Maybe somewhere protected on the same server? I am very confused with this part of the install.

Anyone else using godaddy hosting and protector?
