I have been trying, but I get no response. Even tried joining his forum but after several days I still have not not their Admin to activate the account.

Maybe I shall be lucky and he'll read it here, also this thread will help over eXtGallery users who have upgraded to 2.3 and then have the same problem.

I don't know if this bug is in XOOPS 2.0.x and extGallery 1.0.4 but in Xoop3 2.3 this happens.

Upload a new photo via the single photo upload and put in your details. One of the fields is Photo Description. If you put in a longish description over several lines of the text box and click submit everything works as it should, it's just if you come to re-edit the description later on that the text filed is only a single line and hence with a truncated description.

I have just set up a new installation of 2.3

I downloaded the 2.3 Module Addons and installed Protector from it.

I have also added extGallery, Contact Us, Mastop Publish modules (all working)

I now come to add Lifetype, uploaded the module and installed it, though it does not install. I get a blank page.

Their is no addition to the admin gui though Lifetype is show as a module. I updated the module and that showed the update process but still no addition to the admin gui.

I tried to uninstall it by first deactiving it and then running uninstall but this too produced a black page.

As a newbie to Xoops, I would like to see the following either located within the core package or as a seperate module pack.

A module (very are quite a few) to allow the creation of individual pages. Mastop Publish is good.

eXtGallery
Lifetype
Contact Us

Tried it but it does not do what I want but thanks for pointing it out.

Looking from some code I see what I really need is to just sort the main menu by blockid.

I see the sort in the Content Module file
" $result = $xoopsDB->query("SELECT *, blockid AS priority, 'content' AS type FROM ".$xoopsDB->prefix('content')." ORDER BY blockid");"
but it does not seem to run, so does anyone know where excatly the main module code is (not the template) the file with the exact SQL request.

Hello, I have just installed XOOPS and looks good.

I have uploaded the Content module so I can add articles which I have now done.

Is there a way to have the menu on the left list and indent better than what seems to be normal

Current Example

Content
....Garden
....House
....Garage
....Veg Plot
....Bathroom

What I would like is..

Content
....Garden
........VegPlot
....House
........BathRoom
....Garage

I have tried different settings etc but can not get the groupings and also the 2nd indentation to work

Is there a way (example plese) or is there a special module to get.

Thanks

Sniff
