The module has installed but the new page creation section is missing from the admin. I've gone through the files and can find no more with wfc. Any ideas what could be the issue, please?

I had successfully installed WF-Channel 2.06 but would appreciate some help with cloning.
I have made several clones of the old version of the module following this procedure:
Multi-file search and replace of 'wf-channel' with new clone name.
Manual replacement of names of sql and template files
Adaptation of slogo
Copy across
However with the new module the slogo is not appearing and on attempting to install I'm getting this message:
Unable to install about. Error(s):
Installing WF-Channel
Table 'x5a7_wfclink' already exists
Running Xoops 2.4.5 on an iMac with OSX Lion 10.7
As WF-Channel is the backbone of my site any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed the theme simple-kris and have substituted my own banner for the logo.png but how do I disable the hover? The banner is only going to the site itself so I just want to stop it going opaque when it's moused-over.

Did you perhaps find another module that does the job as well or better?

Thank you so much for that link. I feel like such a noob! I hadn't set the page filter at the top of the page to allow me to see the blocks in other pages. That's great.
However, I still have the problem with the login block not displaying on the user side although I can see it in the admin side. (I have it set to visible.)
Should I start another thread for this or can anyone help me with this here please?

Sorry that was relating to an additional issue. But there is no system/modules/templates/blocks in the upgrade.

Thank you fdeconiac for the link. I downloaded it but there is no new modules/system/templates/blocks/system_block_login.html so I think the answer must lie elsewhere.
