My first website:
http://www.swingjunction.co.uk
- A website for Lindy Hop and Swing Dancing throught UK and EIRE. I'm not getting as much use as I would like, any sugestions to make it more useable?

My second website:
http://www.bluestripesolutions.co.uk
- A website for a small IT support company

...And finally, my latest and one with an original theme:
http://www.zootswing.co.uk
- The website for my dance school. I'd like some navigation tips for this (or any other tips) please :)

Regards,

Ben B.

Well,

There was one other variable I hadn't counted on. I was using jpg's generated by Photoshop. I haven't nutted out the technical differences (and don't frankly care) but a JPG created by MSPaint works fine :)

I started getting this error after changing hosting companies.

poo

I have no idea is the problem was caused by my migration process or by the hosting company but I suspect by the hosting company because I can upload anything via the admin console.

Any ideas from any one?

Hello,

I've been using XOOPS now for a short time on a server that limits my CPU usage (or shuts me down temporarily). I'd like to implement caching (in the hopes that I can remedy the server load) but don't want to noticeably effect the user experience and would like my website to appear to refresh with new information immediately.

The problem seems to be caused by over enthusiastic search engine spiders. I thought a good solution would be to set a cache time of 1 or 2 seconds BUT the admin page only lets me set a minimum of 30 seconds cache.

Does anyone know where the values in the admin page come from? I've tried doing a search for "30" as well as the other times (in seconds, of course) but Textpad finds nothing...

XOOPS Version: 2.0.16

Web Server Software (Apache/IIS/Other): dunno
Operating System: dunno
Theme you are using: Obscene
Custom template: (Yes/No) No
PHP Debug Messages: None
MySQL Debug Messages: None
Smarty Debug Messages: None
