I was thinking for E-invitations.
One idea would be to make a user for each and then script the welcome to XOOPS user welcome email to the invitations and then they could click on the link to rsvp. Then all users that were live would be coming..

The best would be a RSVP module that perhaps asked for a guest name and if a choice of dinner then it would ask then. Is there any place I can see what you've done so far? I'm really bad a modules but if I can help in any way let me know.
I found another site using tiny_cal and it' ok for static stuff.

I really like your site. What did you use for it? I'm planning on doing something like for my wedding in Jan.
What modules did you use?
Any tips??

I'm looking for an event planning module. Actually I'm planning my Wedding and would like to use XOOPS to help. Also wanted to be able to send E-Invitations and allow people to accept so if anyone has any ideas let me know. :)

When I have done that (with or without the <?php?>) nothing happens at all. I hit preview and my blank window pops up.

It is in a custom block an HTML block and when I remove those tags it doesn't seem to like it anymore. Meaning it just echo's the code into the block.

Anyone get this working? I've attempted but to no avail..I edited the Smarty.class.php file and get no love.
Here's my script.....

<?php
$ip = $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
$fullhost = gethostbyaddr($ip);
$brw = $_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'];
$host = preg_replace("/^[^.]+./", "*.", $fullhost);
?>

Your IP address: <?=$ip?> <br>
Host: <?=$host?> <br>
Browser: <?=$brw?>
