Fixed the problem by installing Altsys Module and editing directly the templates from the module itself.

Download Altsys here: http://xoops.peak.ne.jp/md/mydownloads/singlefile.php?lid=76&easiestml_lang=xlang%3Aen

Hello Guys,

I have a similar problem and have not solved the issue yet. I'm having problems changing the templates of my modules. I have a "Template Set" but I can't find it on the left side of Templates Manager but it is in the part of "Generate surcharge". I tried editing the templates under my current theme but to no avail and I noticed that the same templates are not the ones actually being shown at the site right now. The templates under my theme is the original default templates that came with the module and NOT the ones being shown at the site which I have edited before upgrading to XOOPS 2.5.7.1. I have extensively edited those templates and don't want to lose any data, please help, thanks!

I have tried changing the directory name of xoops_data and also deleted the files under smarty_compile but I have not fixed the problem. Also "Check templates for modifications?" is set to Yes.

There seems to be a problem logging in using LinkedIn, please double check. Thanks!

I'm using 1.79 and entered the "OAuth User Token" and "OAuth User Secret" but it didn't work. Also tried using "API Key" and "Secret Key" for LinkedIn, still didn't work.

Hello Guys,

I would like something like this to work, unfortunately, <{continue}> doesn't work. I want it to skip the iteration if there is no photo. Please help, thanks!

<{foreach item=item from=$block.items name=photoLoop}>
<{if $item.photo}>
<{else}><{continue}>
<{/if}>
<{/foreach}>
<{$item.photo}>

For me, I'm on XOOPS 2.4.4 I use AMContact module. It has a custom question and answer settings to prevent spam. I've made my own Math problems there. I don't remember the last time I've received an email from those spam bots, probably never :)

Thank you Jimmy for trying to help but I've tried that already and it doesn't seem to work. This is my /class/captcha/config.php

return $config = array(
'disabled' => false, // Disable CAPTCHA
'mode' => 'text', // default mode
'name' => 'xoopscaptcha', // captcha name
'skipmember' => true, // Skip CAPTCHA check for members
'maxattempt' => 10, // Maximum attempts for each session
'num_chars' => 4, // Maximum characters
'rule_text' => _CAPTCHA_RULE_TEXT,
'maxattempt_text' => _CAPTCHA_MAXATTEMPTS);

I also have /Frameworks/captcha/ but I have tried renaming the folder, it still shows image captcha. I've tried editing the /Frameworks/captcha/config.php file to text, the problem is still there.

I also had SecurityImage module installed. But I have now disabled and uninstalled the module but the problem still exists.

Seriously, I'm getting a lot more spam when using re-captcha than without it. Spammers seem to detect which site has re-captcha and spam on them. I've tried 2 step registration with MATCH text at the end, still, spammers are able to go through it. With my experience, math captcha is the most effective way of getting rid of spam. I don't get any from my contact forms.

Can someone please teach me how to make math captcha on User Profile. random numbers from 0-9 addition and subtraction. if $a > $b then use subtraction.

I'm using XOOPS 2.4.4 and User Profile 1.7

Thanks!

I'm having problems emailing users. The 100 email per hour limit is the problem. I have around 1200 registered users in my site and I receive emails from mailer-daemon from different providers stating the 100 emails per hour limit. Does XOOPS have any timer or is there any module I can install to enable me to mail 100 users per hour automatically? Thanks!
