I've got Smart Sections and WF-Downloads and cannot figure out how you actually do the uploading. I see no place where the user can enter the name of a file to upload. I know it's really dumb, but I can't find anything....

Hi,

Running the latest version of Xoops, is there any way to allow users to upload files? I know its a dumb question, but I can find lots of informaton on allowing downloads, but not about allowing uploads!

Thanks!

Have you gotten a response as to where the theme.php file is yet? I am having the same problem and can not find it in my root directory or through the administration panel.

Thanks! I was trying to make this more difficult than it was. I did not think of just putting in a block with the code already in it for a link back to the original site. Thanks! https://xoops.org/uploads/smil42e7a44fda194.gif

Hi,

Sorry that I was so confusing. A login block on the non-xoops site would be perfect. But then I would need a way for them to get from the XOOPS page back to the non-xoops page.

Thanks!

Melissa

Hi,

I have a homepage that has a members section. The members section is powered by xoops. How can I put a link on the login page which will take the user back to the original home page (not part of xoops)?

Thanks! You solved the problem. The server could not read the index file because somehow it had its extension renamed. Thanks!!!!

Hi,

I had a homepage that had a link for members only. I set up XOOPS with the intention of the following.

1. You would go to my domain and see my webpage.
2. If you clicked on member pages, it would take you to the XOOPS main menu page (index.php).

But what happened was that my homepage is now not showing up and when you go to my domain, it gives me a 403 error saying that I do not have permission to view that page.

HELP!

Thanks!

Melissa

Hi,

Before I installed xoops, I had a web page with a link to member pages. I had hoped that XOOPS would kick in when someone clicked "member pages." Instead now when I go to my homepage it gives me a 403 error and says I am forbidden to view it. Any ideas?
