Homepage gone after installing xoops

Hi,

Before I installed xoops, I had a web page with a link to member pages. I had hoped that XOOPS would kick in when someone clicked "member pages." Instead now when I go to my homepage it gives me a 403 error and says I am forbidden to view it. Any ideas?

what was the name and extension of the file that generated your now "missing" page?

Is it still there (when viewed via ftp)?
