Thanks a lot but it didn't work for me. Anyway, I installed Herve Theroux's ForumEx module and it works fine. Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

Thanks for the help but so far, it isn't working. I looked at the visual tutorial but it is for an earlier version of CBB and the menus are different (for example, the permissions has its own tab in the new version).

I may have misspoken before in my description but my problem is with the forums and not the news module. Thanks.

Thanks for the help, all. I switched to News 1.44 and everything seems to be working. I appreciate the help.

Hi all,

I just created a new site at http://www.vino.5thwind.com and I can't seem to make the icons that I made for the news categories appear on the posts. Am I doing something wrong? I have tried with two different news modules and am now using Altern8. I just want to have category icons come up to the left of each news story.

Also, I'm not sure what the sections module is for and I can't find any documentation about it. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi all,

My first post here. I have a tennis-related Web site and I'd like to create a formatted leaderboard for some tournaments we play. Does anyone know of a spreadsheet-type module that would allow me Web-based input for scores and present them on the site? Thanks and, so far, I love Xoops.

Lionel
