Migrating from a localhost to webserver

Hello everybody.
One question for you: Do I have to create a subdomain for locating all the files from the localhost in the client's web server.... or Can I locate the files just in a folder named htdoc or xoops?.....

What are the best recomendationes to do it?...Every thing works great at my localhost and I don't want to lose any thing...(I already checked the information in the forum at the link:

Thank u for your support, but I really don't know what you mean with bbcode. I try to figure it out but I found the module Edito,catads and that's it. Do I have to add any code or to activate something?....
Sorry about my lack of knowledge...I would apreciate more support inthis area.

Editor's problems & Errors of navigating

Hi moderators and everyone. I have 2 questions:

1.- When I have to submit an articule in the module News 1.44 I am not able to apply the options from the tool bar of the editor Quote:
adding a Link or e-mail or image or quote or code, color, size or style....

Can some one give me some help please?
I am using the module Content 0.5, XOOPS 2.0.14, PHP 5.1.4, MySQL :5.0.21, Apache/2.2.2 (Win32) DAV/2 mod_ssl/2.2.2 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_autoindex_color PHP/5.1.


2.- Every time I am navigating on my web pag and with the debug ON, I see there is some errors reported, even when the operation is OK,so my question is if this is a problem I must fix ??. Next the error I normally have:

Hi moderators and every body.

I have problems with the wf-links module. I have the same problem alredy publiched in the next link:
Forum consult

but...
Can some one tell me what do I have to do with this file?, where to put the file wflinks_1.03b?, should I keep the module wf-link1.03? .... I really do not understand because the download is not a module is a file.
Thanks in advanced.... and sorry, I know that it has to be very easy and I could not found it out.

I forgot to say that when I try to click on any of the options of the bar the message in the botton of the esplorer is : "Fail at the pag"...

I am also working with the debug ON but there is not problem reported. After I click on SEND botton there is always a report of the following mistakes, but Hey they are reported even when is succefull updated the data y published.

Hi,
I've tried to solve the problem but I couldn't.And I did not find any help in search tool.

When I try to submit an articule the options for adding a link, image, e-mail, quote or code are desactivated. I am able to do it at the level of a topic manager but it doesn't work for the articles. The problem looks like the all bar is desactivated....Also the options to change the format style doesn't work. However I am able to write in the text area, piblish it and upload any file.

Is there something wrong or that is the way that the module works?

Hi, this is for those who can have the same problem I had. In my case the problem was that my file main.php located at content/module directory had an wrong character in the line 2:

define('_C_FILENOTFOUND','¡Archivo no encontrado! Por favor, verifica la URL.');
á

so, as soon as I activated the debug the error was shown and I deleted it and it works!!. I can see all my submenu at first level and second level.

I cann't see the submenu at second level with Content 0.5

Hi everybody,
I installed the Content 0.5 module and I defined submenu at de first level and also submenu at the second level for some of them. The point is that I can not see the submenu at the second level, it's show me a white pag just with the url :
http://localhost/misitio/modules/content/index.php?id=10

What do I am doing wrong?


Here there is an example, where the submenu 2.1 and 2.2 are not visible when I click on the Submenu 2.:
Main menu:
Submenu 1
Submenu 2
-----> Submenu 2.1
-----> Submenu 2.2
-----> Submenu 2.3
Submenu 3

Can someone help me please?....I am sure that I am missing somethig.I am using XOOPS 2.0.14.
