you can go through your host. normally they can get you some deals because you are with that host. but do a google search for domain purchase. you will get gobbs of results back.

depends on the host you have, if you sign up with them you get a free domain. but if you have a host already you will need to purchase a domain. which is around $6 for a YEAR as JMorris has said a couple times.

i have XOOPS installed and able to log in fine, but my question is how can i edit the main page so i can write news and comments about whatever. i cant seem to find a way to do this in the admin console...do i need to get a 3rd party app like dreamweaver to edit the actual pages themselves? i know there are modules to use for news and comments but hey dont show on my home page. just another link on the main menu on the right hand side.
