I guess my sql server never had a tmp directory set so I edited the the tmpdir so that it pointed somewhere.

When i was configuring my XOOPS I all of a sudden blocks come up blank. I get this error in the Debug.

SELECT b.* FROM xoops_newblocks b, xoops_block_module_link m WHERE m.block_id=b.bid AND b.isactive=1 AND m.module_id IN (0,-1) AND b.bid IN (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32,34) ORDER BY b.side,b.weight,b.bid
Error number: 1
Error message: Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_6f99_0.MYD' (Errcode: 17)

Do you know why this would happen?

Upon further investigation I found this error

Can't create/write to file '/tmp/#sql_d20_0.MYI' (Errcode: 9)

but the /tmp has a 777 or drwxrwxrwx in it.

I installed a module and then I went to go look a my Blocks and all of them are gone. But the blocks still show up on the main page. For some reason it looks like it won't get the list of blocks that my website has...could something of been corrupted?

Now i get this error

Fatal error: Class 'XoopsPersistableObjectHandler' not found in /htdocs/modules/extcal/class/event.php on line 59

I get that error when i try and view my account information. Also when i update my information. Is there any way to fix that?

This is what I am using.


Xoops 2.0.15
OpenBSD 3.9
Mysql 5.0.18
PHP 5.0.5

Ok I am having a problems with all of the galleries and uploading stuff to the OpenBSD server that I am running. Whenever I install a gallery and get netPBM set up (by coping everything over inside the chroot area.) I find I can't upload anything to the server. Do I need to setup FTP access to /var/www (web chroot area)? Or do I need to do something else?


Here is what I have

Xoops 2.0.15
OpenBSD 3.9
Mysql 5.0.18
PHP 5.0.5

no it didn't...I realized what happend... When i changed the document root and reset the server the mysql.sock vanished becuase MySQL server wasn't running anymore. Because I am running everything on OpenBSD and I have my website chrooted my link to mysql.sock was not there anymore making the website think that MySQL wasn't running or not running in the chrooted jail.

I have look all over the Blank page FAQ but I was changing the httpd.conf file to make it so that my host name wouldn't come up on the web address anymore and when I changed the document root tohttp://mydomain/xoops and then go back into xoops, it gives me a blank page. Everything I have tried on the blank page FAQ doesn't work. Any suggestions?

When I changed the document root could that of caused XOOPS not to reconize something?

I figured it out. For some reason i had to add index.php into the apache config file. After I did that it worked.
