Hi thanks,

There were a couple of "corrupt files" listed when I ran the md5 script. I'm sorry I don't exactly remember what they are since when I re-uploaded them the script said everything was fine. It was like multimailer.php, xmlrpcparser.php, and something else.

I didn't try what Swain said since I'd already done this whole mess.....

I've tried pretty much all of those ideas.. either i get nothing or i get an endless circle as described earlier. I don't really mess with MySQL tho

I think I'm just going to have to use a backup a lose what ever stuff I do...

Thanks everyone for trying

I also checked to be sure there were no extra spaces or characters at the end of mainfile.... I can't find anything wrong other than everything is blank, so there has to be something.....

I don't know what else to do, I keep searching and trying all the answers tho...

Hi, I've been reading and searching and trying everything and so far nothing...

I upgraded from 2.0.13 to 2.0.14, ran the check script, fixed the corrupt/missing files, checked CHMOD of everything, tried both user.php and admin.php and still can't get anywhere.

When I go to admin.php it says "This is your first time to enter the administration section. Press the button below to proceed."

When I do it claims to be logging me in and says to click here if it doesn't reload. When I click it takes me back to the first page again.

If I go to system->admin->admin.php I can see the menu but don't "have permission to access" anything

Anything I have missed?

Thanks a ton for any help!!

I know this is an old topic but I was wondering where would you put the marquee tag to make the recent posts block scrolling??

I tried the links but don't want to build a new theme and the other newBB.zip file wouldn't work for me.

Thank you for your help!

I am using newbb 3.04

I've seen a few other posts about this so I know I'm not alone here... has everyone just given up and downgraded? I mean no one knows what to do, is sort of hard to believe. Sorry to be a bother but I really need a updated and WORKING forum.
