Hi,

I have just installed XOOPS on my machine. It came only with one module (system admin). I've downloaded two additional modules net2ftp and Sahraftp, and then I installed only sahraftp, XOOPS said it was successful, I tried to click on it but I was unable to do so its unclickable not like system admin, I tried to install net2ftp, and its the same too.

I don't know what should I do to make both modules working, and be able to change their settings.

Help please,

Thank you,

I never heard of the XOOPS modules you name here, so are you sure these are XOOPS modules?

I think you may have misunderstood how net2ftp works. It doesn't have an admin area. You just use the link on the main menu to open it's start page, enter the details of the FTP server you want to connect to, and go from there.

Not familiar with the other module though.

100% I found them in Module Repository, Admin Modules, File Management.

What I need is a module that is very easy for users to use, no categories or anything, just a list of files, they can click on any file on that list and it should start to download.

Do you know any such module?

Thank you for your respond!

You are right, I just found out that both give a link, but no admin or anything. my mistake.

Do you know any module that can help me have very easy to use download page?

You don't want a FTP tool like net2ftp then. I'm guessing that you have XOOPS 2.0.14 or 2.0.15 that came with no modules? The default downloads module that came with earlier versions of XOOPS may be the best for you, but i'm not sure where you could get it from. Maybe the XOOPS Sourceforge page?
