I'd like to see something like this too. I have some really nice excel brackets that automate some things, and I also have found this little program TournamentBracketBuilder.zip that generates basic html tables (uses MS VB scripting and some word or excel routines if you look under the hood I think - Maybe get some logic?)

Thanks,
Gene

I'd like to see an integration of one of the Links Modules and OPML. The ability for people to download the OPML files or see the link list like normal and the Admin to add/edit the links via uploads of OPML files or online edits.
Basically use it a both a personal link manager (including a private links area) and a public directory structured area.
Seems simple in theory to me, but I don't program either, so..

Thanks,
Gene

I've posted the current "USB version of Xoops" I'm using to sourceforge. It uses Uniform Server 3.3 which includes:
phpMyAdmin: 2.6.4-pl4
MySQL: 5.1.17
Apache: 2.0.55
PHP & PHP Extensions: (5.1.1 available) but downgraded to 4.3.11
ActivePerl: 5.8.7.815
phpMyBackupPro: 1.7.1

Link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/xoopsusb

Even with modules it should fit on a 64MB stick. Click one batch file to start, log in to xoops, one batch to stop. With the suggestions in this thread and a look at Uniform Server's site you might get it to CD?

I'm just starting.. New to Xoops, OLD to web, running 2.2.3 Final and TreemenuXL 0.6. I also noticed the error with the weighting (order of menu list). As far as I can tell it's not in the Java, but in the PHP coding? If you extract the whole archive structure it looks to me like there's some duplication of code? There's both a "treemenuxl.php" and "treemenu.php" in the 'include' folder and then another "treemenuxl.php" in the 'blocks' folder. I'm not up on module design enough yet to know if this is for backwards compatability or if some's just plain old. (the treemenu.php looks to be an old version to me).

Anyhow, what I was going to mention is that in looking through the files, the only place I can see looking for weight is in the blocks/treemenuxl.php file, and I'm thinking that was a pre-2.x version? Just my 2 cents, like the menu other than that...

I'm using XOOPS 2.2.3 Final, and TreemenuXL 0.6. Once you load the module, go to the admin page. Look under BLOCKS: List All Blocks:
In the ADD pulldown box, scroll until you see the Treemenu Section. Select the type (user or mainmenu) you want and add it in like you would another block. Once the block is added thats where you get the options of which type of 'look' you want and if it expands, etc.
Be warned that in it's current version (see the other post in this area) it will NOT sort the item list correctly. It defaults to however you originally loaded the modules.
