Thanks. This was due to my blog page not working on my other site hosted by the same company. Is there a way around this as I don't think my blog will work unless it's on PHP 5?

Thanks. It seems someone has hacked my site as I didn't change anything for this to start happening. Had lots of people registering on my site and then it just went wrong.

This is what comes up when I put debug on:

Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file include/functions.php line 566
Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file kernel/user.php line 610
Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file kernel/object.php line 803
Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file kernel/configitem.php line 97
Notice [PHP]: Only variable references should be returned by reference in file class/module.textsanitizer.php line 285

etc. etc....

Hi, I've just realised that my links page isn't working any more as when I click on a links category a blank page comes up.

http://www.onlineweddings.co.uk/weddingdirectory/modules/mylinks/viewcat.php?cid=34

Can you let me know what I need to do to fix this?

Thanks!

yeah, basically you just need to go into your forum permissions, and make anonymous posting a nogo

I can't find any settings that give me access to edit the forum permissions on my XOOPS admin section. Anyone got any ideas what I can do bar delete my whole forum and start again?!

Just seen your aswers...yes I'm the Admin for Onlineweddings. Well I'm just the owner of the site really with not much of a clue as to what I'm doing on the XOOPS side of things! (as you can tell).

I've tried going into the 'Edit forum' option but I come up with a blank screen every time I try to access the forum editing section. I've been able to do it in the past and make unregsitered users unable to make posts but it's just not working now.

I can make my whole forum unreadable by unregistered users but that's no good as no one can read it at all!

Can anyone tell me the path to finding permissions for the forum? I can't see anything about permissions? I'm going to be away for a month soon and need to sort it out but would prefer not to take my forum offline altogether.

Hope to hear from you soon-my email address is info@onlineweddings.co.uk incase someone can email me direct to help me out.

Cheers,

Joe

I've been unable to edit user persmissions on forums on my site for quite a while now and am hitting a brivk wall without anyone being able to help me out. Basically I'm getting spammers making posts every day on my forum and I'm unable to edit the permissions to stop unregistered users making posts.

Please...please..please...is there anyone out there that can help me?

Joe

I made a post a while ago but still haven't been able to fix my issue.
My permissions are all set and I'm able to post news sometimes but every now and then this keeps coming up and stopping me from making my post:

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /weddingdirectory/modules/news/submit.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/1.3.34 Server at www.onlineweddings.co.uk Port 80

Can anyone tell me what I can do?

I'm unable to post news articles anymore on my site-can anyone help?
Every time I post an article the page refreshes but there's no sign of the article anywhere -just vanishes into thin air.

Can anyone help me?

I've set my permissions properly but it's still happening. For some reason when I add just a few words it works OK but if I add a whole paragraph it tells me I'm Forbidden!

Any ideas?
