XOOPS and AWStats or similar packages?

I am running our site (www.IFOH.org) and using one of the stats modules, but I really miss the complete set of data I used to get from AWStats. "Hits" and pagecount are ok, but there is more data I would like to review, not the least of which is "Unique Visitors."

Is it possible to get AWStats running with XOOPS? If anyone has done this I would like to know what is involved... if there is another alternative then I can explore that too, but tracking with AWS would be my first choice.

Thanks for any help... I was suprised not to find anything on this topic when I searched here and Google.

Advice for Administration of Content

Our site (www.IFOH.org) depends on a lot of shared content with other people in our area of interest. Images, links, news stories, and press releases. I would like to keep track of all of the requests for permission to share content... has anyone seen a module that would do this, or has anyone developed a simple method for tracking all of the "content permission requests?"

We do not want our site to be "open" for people to post content... but I would like to automate the tracking of the ask - and have the permission listed in an administrative database.

I look forward to any thoughts or advice... maybe a developer can take this idea and create a simple tracking module. hint hint ;)

Ability to Print a "Newsletter" from XOOPS Content

I am facing the challenge of creating a publication (let's call it a 'newsletter') where a significant portion of the recipients do NOT use the Internet. For the portion that do, I would like to build a site (using XOOPS) to create a fairly typical special-interest site with members and guests. However...

Is there a process (module, something) that would allow me to select content from the web site and then very simply print (yes, on paper!) a newsletter and mail it out to those members requesting this method of communication? I am trying to avoid re-formatting content between the on-line world and the paper world.

Some of the on-line content may not be included in the paper newsletter, but ideally the admin could select what was and was not included and let the XOOPS system flow the content in to a print template...

Thanks - I am hoping for some insights from the experienced users here!

Need: Tiered Membeship With Payment

Any suggestions for a way to accomplish the following?

Provide multiple levels of membership. Some levels will require payment, and different paid levels of membership will provide different access to content.

Since I am asking... I would also envision the user to be able to sign-up and (optionally) pay for their membership level when they register.

Any guidance? I am not a developer, just a hack, so I need to find something already completed. Thanks in advance!
