I prefer you PM me what you usually charge and most importantly, a portfolio or at least one example of past work.

Thanks

I'll be working on two new sites in the next days, and I'm flirting with the idea of paying someone to design unique custom themes for them. I usually use free available themes, that I modify to my needs.

I'm not looking for anything complicated, probably a two columns design, not full screen (like site in my sig), with a nice looking logo/header and good color scheme.

I will give more details, about what I want for each site, to the designer I choose.

I need a quick turnaround, like 1 week, with a psd (or something else) layout to get approved by me first before you code the css. (to avoid you doing work for nothing). I don't need help with installation, I just need a working theme (it must work for all modules).

If you're interested PM me your portfolio, your deadline and your rate. (I'm aware of going rates for such design, so be reasonable)

If you know a designer or a website that could do this for me, please let me know. I don't want links to site that sell already made themes, I want the themes to be unique to my sites.

Thanks
CJ

Wow, thanks for all the replies! I've been busy and only came back today to check this thread.

Some answers:

exbanious: Thanks for the nice words. Yes I noticed the link thing too, but I want to respect the XOOPS "code of honor". Do you think I should just remove it?

Goober: Thanks for the nice words. I'm actually setting up a testimonial page. First, I have to wait for some orders to be complete. Btw nice site! It's nice to see XOOPS used in different genre.

wonder: We only post in english for now.

dkoller: Sorry, we don't do that kind of work.

Biteronboard: Thanks for the nice words.

Beavis: Thanks, yeah liase just went crazy on me one day, lost two days of customers probably. Switched to formulaire for now, although I prefered liaise, back-end wise.

Tabasco - PrezKennedy - Jharis Yes, so far it's working pretty well, at some point I was even getting too many orders. I had to find more posters, but we're rolling well now.
It's hard getting a forum going when it's empty, that's why this service is so helpful.

To download, look at the left menu of this site for "Download XOOPS" and download the full version of the version you want.

To install it, there's great tutorial for new XOOPS user, with a step by step on how to install it. It used to be in the XOOPS FAQ section, but the link doesn't work anymore. It'll probably be back up soon.
