when you refer to XOOPS standard modules, were these supposed to be included with my install, or something i need to download and install myself.

i want to write articles with descriptions and incorporate photos into the article., neither short or long, probably medium sized., i want links on the menu to point to each individual article i write., user clicks on linke to open up new area of content.

All i really want to use XOOPs mainly for is to maintain my website, upload photos, edit content (text), customize menus to point to content etc., was wondering what modules i need to install to accomplish this, would like the ability to maintain my web site all from the browser window without having to edit and upload using an another outside source, or have to be on my main pc all the time since i am on the road quite a bit., would also like the ability for persons to be able to request info or ask questions via formfield etc., i dont have any real intentions at this point in time to use the full capabilities of XOOPS forums., just want to use to maintain my website., any info that you can give me as to what MODULES i may need to pull this off would greatly be appreciated.

are you referring to the server where the XOOPS code resides or are you talking about settings on our personal computers?

so how do you prevent persons on the web looking at your web site from experiencing the same annoywing PHP errors, after my XOOPS install, i am also having troubles with this, can you please go into more detail on how to eliminate this issue.
