i want to put a few blocks (showing some site updates such as last pics in gallery, or last posts in forums) at the top of my homepage.

The module loaded for deafult is "news".

The problem is that if i set these blocks to be shown in the center-left or center-right side, they stay at the bottom of the page.
the only way to put them on the top is to set them to be shown in the "center-center" side.

I'm using XOOPS 2.0.13.1
A friend of mine using XOOPS 2.0.9 doesn't have this problem and the blocks stay at the top of the page anyway.

(obviously i've set the weight to 0).

i hope i haven't done too many mistakes trying to explain the problem in english

my template is

<table cellspacing="0">
  <
tr>
    <
td id="usermenu">
      <
class="menuTop" href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php"><{$block.lang_youraccount}></a>
      <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/edituser.php"><{$block.lang_editaccount}></a>
      <{if
$block.lang_inbox}>
        <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/modules/pm/"><{$block.lang_inbox}></a>
      <{/if}>
      <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/notifications.php"><{$block.lang_notifications}></a>
      <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/user.php?op=logout"><{$block.lang_logout}></a>
      <{if
$block.admin}>
        <
a href="<{$xoops_url}>/admin.php"><{$block.lang_adminmenu}></a>
      <{/if}>
    </
td>
  </
tr>
</
table>

but with this template the module doesn't work. how can i change it? editing the file is the only way?

i've tried to change it from the admin panel, but it seems to be impossible...

Hi. I'm new here in the forum, as XOOPS is new for me :)

I'v just installed XOOPS 2.2.3 on my server.

At first i couldn't find the XoopsMembers module in the package. but fortunately i've found it in the XOOPS 2.0.13.1 package.

But now i'm still having a problem with the "new Members" block, i can create it and i can make it visible everywhere, but it doesn't list any member... i don't know why. any suggestion?

thanks.

Oh... it's 3 days that i'm using XOOPS :P
