Well I love the layout and functionality of xoops, now if I can just get it to cooperate :)
On the fontpage (www.hyipnet.com) there is nothing except:

I was able to log in just after installation into admin and the same was on the bottom of every page in admin. when I logged out and went to front page, there was nothing except the template frame and the list above.

Any ideas?

I got 2.2.3 installed, everything seems to work okay on the surface so far, but every admin page has the following at the bottom in I guess what would be under the footer that says "powered by xoops",(the space under the frame). Can someone tell me what I've done wrong or what I need to change?

Thanks for that. I reinstalled it and followed the directions, templates_c is set to 777.
The site works now except the following when I am in administration: when I ao to actions/admin index, the page is blank and under the frame is the following:

I have installed and re-installed XOOPS about 15 times now, deleting the db tables each time, uploading again. Installation goes fine until I get to the add admin. After I enter the data and press next, it kicks out, cant' find page, blah blah blah. Every single time. I've checked settings in browser, used different browsers, in fact, when I use Opera the message is that connection is terminated, the install/index.php file is not available.

suggestions? can I pay someone to install just so I can get a look at it?
