Hi,

I am placing all my effort to use this software and setup the Site. Still could not configure it fully. Been trying to resolve it since last 5 hours.

Question 1 :
-----------

After spending several hours, i realized that for creating Sub Menus linking to content, either i have to edit the Menu Manager code for each Theme i want to use (based on notes given here --http://www.macambridge.com/dummies/) or i have to use a module like this one (WF-Channel) downloaded fromhttp://www.wf-projects.com/.

Out of these 2, i would prefer WF-Channel approach so that when i go for different theme, i don't have to start from beginning. Now the problem i am having is, after installing WF-Channel, it's not appearing unless the user logs in. I want the content to be visible for all users.

And when i look at Blocks Section, and try to enable it for visibility for all Users, it's not appearing when i select the "Anonymous Users" from Group. Can you please let me know how do i enable this Module to be Visible for all users.

Also I will need more than one (Menu + SubMenu Combination). Currently WF-Channel supports only one item under Main Menu and under that we can have multiple pages as Sub Items. Do you know how to clone WF-Channel module and add multiple Main Menu items.

Question 2 :
-----------

Also i added plain HTML text in Center Block. Even with this one, it's appearing only when the user logs in. In Blocks Section, it's not appearing when i select the "Anonymous Users" from Group and try to enable visibility for all users. Can you please help me with how to enable Visibility for all users for new Center Block Text Items.

Truly appreciate your help in advance. waiting for Answers.

Thanks
Sunny

Hi,

The install of XOOPS was a breeze (Easy one). But i think i am not find something equivalent to a Menu Manager anywhere in XOOPS.

I have been trying to create a Corporate Web site using XOOPS and so far have not been successful in creating one. Can you please help me with these questions. Your help is very much appreciated.

1. On the Home Page, i want to have very plain HTML content (Just like a welcome page). No Dynamic things like Forums etc.

For example, on XOOPS.org (https://xoops.org/) home page, if i can know how was this text , "Welcome to the Official XOOPS website!" was added that will be helpful. I have been searching for a place to see how to add this text.

2. Under the Main Menu, i want to add link to a Static HTML Pages. And then Under this link i want to have Sub links to other HTML Pages.

For example, i want to have a page like this onehttps://xoops.org/modules/wfchannel/ and under this link, on left side a set of Sub Links come up each having it's own static HTML page. Can i know how was these set of pages Created. Also i see that these Sub Links appear only when the Parent Link is clicked.

Do i need to implement any PHP Code to have these static HTML Pages and Links, or is there any Menu Manger mechanism in XOOPS which can help me add these page & Links.

3. On the XOOPS.org site, on left side, how was this box added "Development" with Links to other pages and Sites. Can you please let me know how was this done.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Sunny
