Hi,

I am placing all my effort to use this software and setup the Site. Still could not configure it fully. Been trying to resolve it since last 5 hours.

Question 1 :
-----------

After spending several hours, i realized that for creating Sub Menus linking to content, either i have to edit the Menu Manager code for each Theme i want to use (based on notes given here -- http://www.macambridge.com/dummies/) or i have to use a module like this one (WF-Channel) downloaded from http://www.wf-projects.com/.

Out of these 2, i would prefer WF-Channel approach so that when i go for different theme, i don't have to start from beginning. Now the problem i am having is, after installing WF-Channel, it's not appearing unless the user logs in. I want the content to be visible for all users.

And when i look at Blocks Section, and try to enable it for visibility for all Users, it's not appearing when i select the "Anonymous Users" from Group. Can you please let me know how do i enable this Module to be Visible for all users.

Also I will need more than one (Menu + SubMenu Combination). Currently WF-Channel supports only one item under Main Menu and under that we can have multiple pages as Sub Items. Do you know how to clone WF-Channel module and add multiple Main Menu items.

Question 2 :
-----------

Also i added plain HTML text in Center Block. Even with this one, it's appearing only when the user logs in. In Blocks Section, it's not appearing when i select the "Anonymous Users" from Group and try to enable visibility for all users. Can you please help me with how to enable Visibility for all users for new Center Block Text Items.

Truly appreciate your help in advance. waiting for Answers.

Thanks
Sunny

I was having the same issue but I just wanted extra content with a menu link on the page. The link you provided http://www.macambridge.com is a great page to find the information. if you go to http://www.macambridge.com/dummies/content.htm#One%20Page%20Module and look there they have a downloadable module that you can modify. What it will do is give you a link in you user menu and it will also show up in the block section so that you can add whatever content to the block as you desire. I am useing custom block to add content to my webpage. As per thier instuctions you can add this module as may times as you like just by modifying some informatioin in it and making a directory to download it in. Personelly unless you want sub menue's I would edit the last part of it as follows.
Quote:

$modversion['hasMain'] = 1;//0 to remove link from main menu
//$modversion['sub'][1]['name'] = _MI_MYPAGE_SMNAME1;//define in language/english/global.php
//$modversion['sub'][1]['url'] = "../../modules/ipboard/";
//$modversion['sub'][2]['name'] = _MI_MYPAGE_SMNAME2;//define in language/english/global.php
//$modversion['sub'][2]['url'] = "../../modules/weblog/";

if you download the file you will notice that the " //$modversion['sub'][1]['name'] = _MI_MYPAGE_SMNAME1;//define in language/english/global.php " does not have // infornt of it so it will give you some weard submenu's. All you have to do is copy what i have here or just add "// " to the front of the four lines at the bottom.
Hope this helps some it did me.
please fogive any spelling errors i cant spell to save my life.

This might be another way:

Go to your System -> Groups -> Anonymous

you should see all the check boxes for both blocks and modules, so you can decide what they can access.

Under modules, check "wf-sections"

Under blocks, check the block you made

then, when you go to the blocks it will be available to all, and you can select where the block goes etc
