I wanted to simply introduce myself I'm DonDaddyD (Donnie or DDD) for short from Marvel Directory

I help out with the forums side of things and the actual webmaster concentrates on the actual Database that lists numerous Marvel characters.

I have little Webmastering knowledge so I may pass through here from time to time asking for help.

I just wanted to introduce myself the site I'm affliated with and the reason I frequent here as not to seem rude.

I hope that my time here proves productive and I learn more about the technical side of running a site. I'm currently curious about creating themes for XOOPS powered boards(any advice on that would be appreciated or if anyone wants to do one for free....... PM me.)

Anyhow hi!

(If this isn't appropriate then I'm sorry just wanted to be polite).

Hi I'm help run a comic forum powered by XOOPS Marvel Directory

Part of the forums is to discuss and review comics. However in the hope of not spoiling the events within the comic for other members, I'm curious to know whether it is possible to create a spoiler code that will black out the text until clicked.

I was thinking something like

and within that section the text wouldn't appear until clicked on.

Such a thing could probably be created at home but I have little technical web mastering expertise so any help would be much appreciated.

Also if you happen to look upon the site and have an opinion or some form of constructive criticism of how it can be improved please PM.

Many thnaks.

Does XOOPS provide any security measures so that a members account cannot access a site.

I know that a webmaster can always delete an account but is their any easier way to block an IP address? Or prevent access without deleting the account.

In fact:

Is their a hack that can actually restrict an account (not the IP) when logging/logged in from accessing the site, by slowing down the connection speed or just completly preventing any access what so ever.

Hi I'm new to the whole XOOPS webmaster thing. I was wondering if it was possibly to create a shoutbox or if XOOPS forums support this?

If they do could anyone give me advice about how to go about creating one or installing it onto a Website with a forum?

Many thanks.
