xoops ipb issue

Hi

I am using the IPB forums in xoops, the module that is available on this site.

IPB is v 1.4 & XOOPS v 2.0.13.2

after moving my site to another server, I am not able to login to Admin panel of IPB, it gives me error

No administration session found

Can anyone help here. This is very critical & I missed this part testing after moving and now I want to make changes in forums on my site

Hi,

I upgraded from 2.0.13.1 to 2.2.3 , i am getting a blank page on my site.

Where do I start to trouble shoot ?

ok, I narrowed down the problem, Only Image ads are not getting displayed. Text ads displayed fine

However when I create a new block, it doesnt display text or image ads, I tried creating HTML , PHP script blocks still no luck

Hi Brash,

I did your article and cloned and edited my weblinks templates. I see the google ads code in there, but it does not appear on my site.

ALso I tried to create a block as u mentioned in article with just google ads code. The block appears on front page, but it is empty, without any content.

So looks like this is some weirdo problem

First of all Thanks James and Brash for responding.

James - I did not understand the iframe part. What code goes in that.

Brash - Yes I want google ads, just like on your site. I read ur article, but I have not worked with phpAdsNew. Is there a way to do it just by using xoops

What FTP software did u use to install XOOPS file?

I found that in my case issue was with FTP client. I was converting file names to lowercase. As a result XOOPS 2.2.2 was not working correctly.

Try to use leapftp or similar

Hello,

I have a strange issue with my site, That I have been trying to resolve since many days.

Whenever I put Google Ads block in any HTML pages , the Ads dont show up, but when I select the contents of the page with mouse, I see that Ad block is highlighted.

For eg:

I tried to edit weblinks_index.html , and at the very end of page I put my Google Ads code. You can see it here

http://csqa.info/modules/weblinks/

Select the text "Latest Site" all the way down and you will see that rectangular block is highlighted.

Am I missing something here?
