OK - This went to really bad! I can't admin anything, my shoutbox is broken (says I don't have permission to view it), and I have checked the MySQL DB and all is perfectly fine!

Devs? Oh devs? Some help here!

Wierd...this has just happened on my site as well. Shoutbox won't work, I can't get to Admin side of Xoops...um...bug?!

My site was working just fine 2 hours ago...I didn't do ANYTHING to it and now...BOOM! Uh...what the hell?

OMG...what the hell?!?! LOL! That alone just made my site about 100 times more eye-appealing...damn man!

That, to date, is the best help/tip I've gotten in the forums. Why this isn't more defined in the FAQ is beyond me though...

Thanks a million!

Adding DHTML dropdowns to CBB (Like Xoops.org Forums)

I'm sorry if this topic has already been covered, but I've been searching for an answer for nearly a week now to no avail. It's probably extremely simple to achieve, but all I want to do is add the DHTML (or CSS) dropdown menus to CBB just like Xoops.org has done. It looks great, is fast, and is also user-friendly. I tried changing the menu setting via CBB Prefs to Hover, but it doesn't accomplish this. It atcually shows the entire menu contents turning the page into an ugly 'nothing-but-links' page.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

newbb_index.html was the template. Fixed. Guess I shoulda looked around for another 30 secs. LOL!

Thanks for the help AND the extension...it will come in handy sometime I know.

NOW, how about the dhtml dropdown menus as opposed to the HTML "click-drop-and-select" menus? I like how Xoops.org has it set up...I would like to do the same...

I had tried that at one point, actually creating a new class called .itemCBB that omitted the border, however, after I had found the CBB template I needed to edit, CBB_template_index.html (I think), and editing it, then updating the module, no change had taken place...I had figured that perhaps it had been cached...so I cleared the template_c dir but still nothing...

I will see what I can do again...will keep you all updated.

Thanks for the FFX (Firefox Extension) btw!

CBB Forum Descriptions are all outlined...grr...

You read correctly. I am using the fydarkblack theme and the CBB index.php shows up kinda funny.

All of my forum descriptions have an OUTLINE...like tthe text has a border function on it. I have hunted for hours trying to find out how to get rid of it, but I just can't seem to hunt it down!

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Edit - Guess I should note that I am using XOOPS 2.0.13 and CBB 1.14 with the fydarkblack theme. Try it out on your own for a sec and see if you get the same results...

I am also curious about the DHTML dropdown menus as opposed to the HTML "click-and-choose" style. How do I go about DHTML instead?!

A small CHAT module or a small SHOP module? You said 'chat' in your post but the title of your post is 'Looking for small SHOP module'

Either or:

For a small chat module - Try FlashChat
For a small shop module - Try KShop

Hope this helps!
