Thanks for the tips, (especially about the password). I didn't realize that 2.11 wasn't stable, sorry. I just went to the download section and downloaded what looked like the latest version. I guess I have to read more carefully.

Hello,

I'm in the process of installing xoops, and was coming accross this error message during the installation. I haven't seen any other references to it on this site, so I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Is there any documentation anywhere for any of the reviews modules? I've searched around a bit, and can't seem to find any information on exactly what they offer in terms of functionality. Any help would be appreciated.

Review modules question

Hello,

I have a website for English Teachers in China, which they use to review their schools. A recent catastrophe has wiped my site out, and I basically decided to start over from scratch. I'm looking at xoops, phpnuke, and a few others as possibilities for my new site. I'd like to know a little more about the review modules available for XOOPS though. What I'm basically looking for on my site is a system that will let me:

1. Have web users enter in their own reviews of schools, (after they register, of course).
2. Have the ability for people to go back and edit their reviews, and for people to leave comments after them.
3. Have a system to organize them, by chronology/alphabet/province/city/rating, etc, and also have a search system in place.
4. In the reviews, I would like to require them to rate their school based on a certain set of criteria, so that when they enter their review in, they would have to acknowledge certain aspects.
5. I would also like for people to be able to rate the review, so that when some pissed off idiot writes a stupid review, or a school comes in trying to impersonate a teacher, people can call them on it and that can be reflected when people are searching for reviews. (This one isn't crucial, but I'd like to see it happen).

Would any of the review modules available for xoops, (perhaps in combination with another search module or something), allow for that? Thanks in advance.
