I also readhttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=44455&forum=7
but:
a) I cannot install or access to my admin page to install extended profiles;
b) there is not a problem of database access (my host so as assured to me...)

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object

Hi,
sorry for my english.
I downloaded my XOOPS site (hosted free by coolinc.info) in local for testing and making some changes.
I was working in local with the same files of the hosted version, I changed only the mainfile.php (for MySQL database access). All things appears to work in local, but after I uploaded all the files to the host, (with the original mainfile.php, for properly MySQL database access), here comes the error message:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/www/danistell.coolinc.info/html/class/theme.php on line 493
The class/theme.php line is:
Quote:
return 'mod_'.$GLOBALS['xoopsModule']->getVar('dirname').'|'.md5(str_replace(XOOPS_URL, '', $protocol."://".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'].$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'].$cachegroup));

I really have not any idea about how to fix this. I have not access to my admin page, so I cannot install "extended profiles" (as solution suggested in other posts). I searched through the "xoops search form" any document or post regarding this issue, but I have not founded solution, although there are some posts with the same error message.
If you search this error in google, you try a lot of site pages reporting this error, so I think this is a very common problem...
Anyone can give to me a suggest?
Thank you...

Thanks for your attention, I solved the problem.
This was because Magazine 1.1 module, not Wiwi 0.4.
Magazine 1.1 seems to not work in php5 invironment.

Hi,
after installing wiwi 0.4 module, I have experimented this problem:
when I go to admin/modulesadmin , the page losses cp_header and cp_footer, and I only can view a non-formatting page without XOOPS admin header and without XOOPS admin footer.
Modules listed for administration are only installed modules, I cannot view non-installed modules (although they are stored in my modules folder).
Anyone can help me?

Hi,
is there a XOOPS function I can call in my php customized pages to automatically generate a html table from a sql table?
I have added some customized tables to my XOOPS database, and I need to display data in my XOOPS admin customized page...
Thank you for your attention.

You can search inactive users by clicking on admin panel/users/find users.
(Admin panel is at the top of the admin page)

When I tried to update system or ams or profile or wflinks module, i got 500 internal server error.
In admin pages, i got a module.textsanitizer.php warning php.
So I replaced 2.2.2 version module.textsanitizer.php with older 2.2.0 version of the same file.
Now, it seems that all modules work and I can update successfully system module.
And warning XOOPS also disappeared.

Now, will I have problems whith older module.textsanitizer.php version runinng on my site?

Thanks to all,
Danistell
