user reg fatal error

When a new user tries to register, they get this:

comment template woes

I've been redesigning my xoopsgallery template set - my first attempt at serious theme modification. I've run into a problem with the comments controls (ex "nested | oldest first | post" etc.). This particular table is hard-coded in include/comment_view.php and called (via smarty function?) by {$commentsnav} . I would like to hack this table, but whenever I modify comment_view.php, even just changing the table class, the script fails to work (ie. {$commentsnav} returns nothing) and I get the following php warning:

Notice [PHP]: Use of undefined constant php - assumed 'php' in file include/comment_view.php line 1

What am I doing wrong?

IRC mod woes

Okay... Module is up and running, it keeps its settings, Java chat runs, but gives the following error:
"Connecting...
[22:40] Unable to connect : null"


in my cPanel error logs, i get these corrosponding errors:
[Thu May 12 01:40:45 2005] [error] [client 69.107.85.120] script not found or unable to stat: /home/nudibra/public_html/modules/ircmod/pixx-english.php
[Thu May 12 01:40:44 2005] [error] [client 69.107.85.120] File does not exist: /home/nudibra/public_html/modules/ircmod/com/ms/security/PermissionID.class
[Thu May 12 01:40:44 2005] [error] [client 69.107.85.120] script not found or unable to stat: /home/nudibra/public_html/modules/ircmod/english.php

NONE of these files are in the module file that i downloaded herehttps://xoops.org/modules/repository/singlefile.php?cid=8&lid=1295

chess module problems

Hi - I am having a similar problem to the one posted here.

In the chess module there is no option to create a game, and when I go to create.php I get an error saying I don't have access rights to that page (altho I've allowed both user and webmaster groups admin and regular access privlg's to the chess module). Also - going to Admin->Chess->Prefs takes me to general XOOPS site prefs, not prefs for the module. is this normal?
