serious spam issues

Hello in there,

I run a site that is currently on XOOPS 2.0.13

Through the Contact Us module I keep getting spammed, I can see in the headers that phpmailer version 1.65 is being used (1.73 or higher is out now).

Could it be the Contact Us module in need of an update or the whole XOOPS core needs to be upgraded tot 2.0.13.2 ?

Hello ppl.
I whas wondering if anyone could tell me how to change some settings on my XOOPS site.
If you go to the first page, u can click on Forum and goto the newbb forum (latest version offcourse).
How can I set it up to display say, the 10 most recent topics on the front page?

jdseymour, the forum is somtimes busy but not that busy :)

Furthermore not 1 posting is visible not even in the archives so it must be something else.

Yes I know should have upgraded some time back.

Hello people,

The forum on my XOOPS website suddenly died, it has runnin NewBB version 2 (RC2),it's been working fine untill yesterday all the postings dissappeared except the topics.
Now you can't even add anything, the rest of the XOOPS system runs perfectly fine, could there be somehting wrong with the SQL server?

Any help much appreciated.
