Excellent. Here is the partial code of the table I'm trying to put into the news module. It still comes out at the bottom.

<table width="50%"border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> <tr>
<th align="center" scope="col">Flight</th>
<th align="center" scope="col">Name</th>
<th align="center" scope="col">Hcp Idx</th>
<th align="center" scope="col">Score</th>
<th align="center" scope="col">Date</th>
<th align="center" scope="col">Net Differential<br />
Over/Under "Par"</th>
<th align="center" scope="col"><br />
Course</th>
</tr>
<tr>
<td align="center">A</td>
<td align="center"> FENTON, DICK</td>
<td align="center">10.4</td>
<td align="center">76</td>
<td align="center">27-Jul</td>
<td align="center">-4.6</td>
<td align="center">Spring Hills </td>
</tr>
</table>

I pasted my html code into the news forum for a table to show some golf scores. But when I preview the table, there is a lot of white space between the legend and table. I'm new to HTML and XOOPS and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong with the code. What do I need to do to get the table to the top of the page?

I'd paste the code in by I'm having the same trouble here.

Darn.

It wouldn't even have to be golf. I think a sports modules where you can enter team scores or any kind of ranking might benefit a lot of people. Ah, If only I were a better coder. I can get the scores into the database, i just can't get them out in a useful format.

I'm running a XOOPS site for a retired men's group. One of their main activities is a weekly golf outing.

I'm wondering if there was a module that could help me keep track of individual players scores as well as alert them to the upcoming courses they will be playing on.

The scores would be broken down according to handicap and they need a monthly summary of who had the best scores individually for the month. They also need team listings for each week.

Is there a module that tracks this kind of data that I might be able to tweek into usability for this group?

Just for fun I added a picture into one of my downloads and it presented the picture just fine.

I rechecked the custom module. Html is on. And I set the the cache to a day. I still get Resized Image with no picture. It's a puzzlement.

Certainly.

Use Temp as a login and temppass as a password.

Could it be that I'm using a custom block? It's a custom block just to add a little image.

I did use the image manager to install the picture. But to check the program, i also used an address of a picture on another one of my sites and I got the same error message.

How come I'm not getting a picture from the uploads file when I use Resized Image Instead I'm seeing it written out in the module. Is there some permission that has to be changed in order for the picture to be loaded instead of just the address?
I uploaded the picture using the image manager. I looked to see if the picture is in the uploads directory and it is. But when I try to show the picture I just get the images address written out.
