Maybe the FCKeditor extension for MediaWiki used in the MediaWiki for XOOPS <=1.71 does not use the same format as the official one in MediaWiki.
If it is the issue, it will not be easy to correct without doing everything by hand.

There is a new FCKeditor extension for MediaWiki available on the mediawiki website, and this one uses the good format, but probably needs a newer version of MediaWiki.
I worked this summer on updating mediawiki for xoops, but did not manage to find time to finish everything properly.

If this is not your issue, try to comment every line on your LocalSettings.php concerning FCKeditor, in order to remove completely the extension from MediaWiki.


Regarding the different looks on your site and the xoops.org one, it's just the skin which is different (yours is in MediaWiki mode, and here it's XOOPS mode).

So the issue is about fckeditor.
First you can desable it by commenting some lines in the bottom of the modules/mediawiki/LocalSettings.php file.

In fact you maybe just need to set $wgFCKUseEditor to false:
$wgFCKUseEditor          = false;


But I'm really not familiar with external editors for xoops, so I cant help you more.
Maybe FCKeditor does not work with XOOPS 2.3.0, or it need to be reinstalled or something...

The 2 themes in demo site are the templates I liked the most on freecsstemplates.org, and you've made them xoopsed!

Great!

But I cant download the files, the link you give here says to me an error message : (translated with google)
Selected module does not exist!

I searched on the wfdownloads module, but last theme is dated 2006...

So where can we download this?

Two years ago we created 3D graphs to see the evolution of MP HP and XP, according to the number of posts, and age of the member registration.
You can see it here on our forum (in French, (in bad French..) but for the graphs it's not a problem )

I've tested this new XoopsForm element, and it could be better...

To add this element to a form, its the same as the other xoopsform elements.

It adds a field containing a RGB HExadecimal color prefixed by #, and a button which open a small popup intowhich there is a table with lots of cells, each containing a color. And with some javascript, when the cursor is over a cell, the color and the code is display at the top of the popup, a clicks close the popup and adds the code color into the field.

I think a whole color palette sould be better (more choice of colors).
