I hate SPAW because I can't seem to use it in FireFox. I once tried to use koivi with my install and got it to work to a certain extent such that it was replacing all dhtm text areas with the koivi ones.
Now can I do it such that the WordPress module makes use of the koivi editor when making the post and when posting a comment.

Thanks in advance.

I am having some issue getting excerpts to show up instead of the actual content of the post. Can someone tell me which options should be turned on. Or is it that the excerpts are only meant to show up on the rss feed? my blog is at:

www (dot )chiragsweb (dot) info

I have looked everywhere in Wordpress configuration but it doesn't seem to have the right switch that I'm looking for.

I've installed the Wordpress module and love it so far. I've configured my XOOPS install such that my homepage/top page always displays the blogs in the center block.
The only things is the when i visit my website,
i type in
Quote:
www.mywebsite.com

but it ends up taking me to
Quote:
mywebsite.com/modules/wordpress

Is there a way to hide this from being displayed. I don't want to give away the location of the blogs. And also it want it to be seemless, so that when a person types in just the URL of my website, their address bar displays what they typed and not the location of the wordpress modules.
I'm not that PHP savvy so that's why I'd like some help in this matter.

regards,
Chirag

Well I was trying to make use of the wordpress module and it has been working very well for me. Now, I wanted to make some enhancements against spam flooding so I decided to try

Quote:
AuthImage:
http://www.gudlyf.com/index.php?p=376

what this plugin does is that it generates a 6 digit alpha-numeric code randomly (as in phpBB2 account creation) to verify that you aren't a bot. I can never get it to display the image after having installed it correctly.

Furthermore, the directions to install involve adding some code to these files

Quote:
/wordpress/wp-comments-post.php
/wordpress/wp-commetns-popup.php

However, the changes don't do anything. However, if I modify the following file in the

Quote:
/wordpress/themes/default/comments-template.php

the image starts to appear with the code that I should enter. And even then, the code is incorrect, when entered. Why is that? Has anyone had any kind of success with wordpress and AuthImage ? Also, are there other plugins to combat spam which work with the xoops' wordpress module and not just the original wordpress.
I've had several hours of changing and uploading, but nothing seems to work for me.

here's my website
