Well I was trying to make use of the wordpress module and it has been working very well for me. Now, I wanted to make some enhancements against spam flooding so I decided to try

Quote:
AuthImage:
http://www.gudlyf.com/index.php?p=376

what this plugin does is that it generates a 6 digit alpha-numeric code randomly (as in phpBB2 account creation) to verify that you aren't a bot. I can never get it to display the image after having installed it correctly.

Furthermore, the directions to install involve adding some code to these files

Quote:
/wordpress/wp-comments-post.php
/wordpress/wp-commetns-popup.php

However, the changes don't do anything. However, if I modify the following file in the

Quote:
/wordpress/themes/default/comments-template.php

the image starts to appear with the code that I should enter. And even then, the code is incorrect, when entered. Why is that? Has anyone had any kind of success with wordpress and AuthImage ? Also, are there other plugins to combat spam which work with the xoops' wordpress module and not just the original wordpress.
I've had several hours of changing and uploading, but nothing seems to work for me.
