You haven't updated the mainfile's XOOPS_URL definition to the new domain.

For reference, see the XOOPS FAQ's Migration section

Great help.
For future reference:
Open mainfile.php in your main directory.
replace old site adress by the new one.
Save it.
Replace mainfile php with fixed one
done!

Hello there!
Recently i have changed my domain name due to expration of the old one, all the files where untouched.
Now when i enter: mywebsite.com it takes me to (Doesn`t exist), but if i enter: mywebsite.com/modules/news it takes me to the right place-beginning of my site.
Then it asks me for username/password as it used to ask before, but after inserting the reg. details and hitting Enter button instead of proceeding to the main page like: mywebsite.com/admin.php it takes me to the old page : my OLDwebsite.com/admin.php which doesnt exist

What could be a problem, is it XOOPS or Hosting dns error?
I really don`t want to reinstall everything from the beginning

Open "theme.html" file from your current theme with special programs as has been told in topic above or just open as i do-in notepad. Find the line similar to:
Quote:
a href="xxtp://www.forumimages.com/">
< img src="<{$xoops_url}>/themes/<{$xoops_theme}>/images/logo.gif" alt="Original Themes By #@Z" align="right" />

The logo image is of course the logo.gif which can be replaced by any picture file u choose to insert instead. But if you will look at the beginning of the code u can see "<a href="http://www.forumimages.com/">" where www.forumimages.com is is the redirection url. Just change it for any other you want then save file theme.html and upload it back to the server by replacing original version.
After the "theme.html" is uploaded go to site preferences and enable theme update.
That should do the trick :).
It did work for me , but i`m a newbie myself, so if any of senior members know easier way- please do correct me as i like to learn as much as possible.
Respect

Well, seems like something went missing.
Here it is: Resized Image
I`ve resized it from the following url:
http://209.157.64.200/focus/f-news/898298/posts
and used real Serbia&Montenegro flag
So the only thing left to do is copy picture from above to the: Your_Site.com/.../modules/xmmemberstats/images/flags/

database is on. Server was working 15 mins ago. One big mistake i`ve made is:
when i`ve damaged mainfile.php i did manual update from 2.07.3 to 2.09.2 , as mainfile.php exist there also. So i`ve rewritten the mainfile.dist.php and mainfile.php with the rest of the files. I`ve hoped that it will solve the problem.
I cannot go through another reinstallation of xoops, is there something else i can do?

i`ve done few changes in mainfile.php and something went wrong, cannot open any page and didn`t make back up of the file. Now domain shows following:

This page cannot be displayed.
Error [Xoops]: Unable to connect to database in file class/database/databasefactory.php line 34

How can i return original settings of mainfile.php or rebuild it?
