I've been having a similar problem with News. I was able to see anything but then I read the UPGRADE.txt file that says you have to generate the template files in the Template Manager. Unfortunately i'm experience another issue I was hoping someone could help me with. For some reason if I try and edit any news posting I get a "you do not have permission" error even though i've set all the permissions appropriately. Any ideas?

Registration Keys Update

A lot of changes have happened with the release of XOOPS 2.2 and those of you using Registration Keys might have noticed it being entirely broken. So as a result, I have updated RegKeys. Since there is a new Profile module to handle all user information, I have removed regkeys from the system module entirely. RegKeys now resides happily within the new Profile module and is compliant with XOOPS 2.2.3.

Here is where you can download RegKeys and get instructions for installing it:

best regards,
caskater

p.s. I found a little bug in the register.php file outside of my alterations (bad core team! ) and so have corrected it. The change is marked.

Reconstructing block code

I am trying to reorganize the blocks within the system. I have edited the CSS styles and changed the look but this isn't enough. I need to create new tables to display the code and can't seem to decipher where this code actually is. The files in the blocks folder only have a title and body tag wrapped in a larger div. From what I see this doesn't really help me with recreating the blocks itself. I can't find a template file that seems to actually structure the blocks. Can anyone help me figure it out?

I should also mention i'm using XOOPS 2.2

No it is not the same as a visual registration check. Its purpose is to be able to limit registration to only those whom you want and/or to place them in appropriate groups you choose. Visual registration check just ensures nobody can spam the registration process. This can act as a solution for the problem if you require all registrants to enter in a registration key, since it would take an incredibly long time for someone to brute force hack a 20 character key. However, the difference is that the user must know the registration key beforehand. Its uses are meant for situations such as customer service, organizations, etc.

Hey everyone, I know its been a while since I last updated the popular Registration Keys module, so I thought you might all want a 2.0.11 compatible version (unless you figured out how to make it compatible yourself). I have not added any new features at this time but I have gotten a couple good suggestions. So thank you to those who have taken the time to write me.

You can find the latest version of Registration Keys, 2.0.1 at
http://www.jeuxstudios.com/regkeys/downloads/regkeys-2.0.1.zip
I have also uploaded the previous versions of RegKeys for those of you whom are still using older versions of Xoops. They can be found at:
Registration Keys 2.0RC1
Registration Keys 1.0.2

Thanks for all that have supported the module.

Jean-Philippe
