your website looks good!

there are so many options for advertising. just few
if you don't have any advertiser, then you can join google adsense - you dont need to look for any advertisers and easy to join
if you have advertiser, then you can use banners or custom block

i guess panigrc wants to put adsense code in between news story or middle of the news story. I've tried the same, but failed. I tried to update news_item.html template to include the adsense code in between 'intro text' and 'extended text', but could not. I think after you submit the news, its stored as single variable {$story.text}

any input/help is much appreciated

does anyone know any XOOPS site which has a demo for all XOOPS themes listed in xoops.org ?

i want to see how it looks before trying in my website.

moreover changed the ad text in its news feed from "ADV:" to "Sponsored Link". so the above patch need to be corrected.

pls change
if (substr($items[0][title],0,4) == "ADV:")
to
if (substr($items[0][title],-14) == "Sponsored Link")

hi, update the sql (two places) and uninstall/install the xdirectory module. it should work. I did the same for my website to include 3 char (NSW, VIC, etc.,)
