Modify "state" field in Xdirectory module

Hi

I am trying to modify the "state" field in Xdirectory from 2 characters to 3 to allow for inputting Australian states like NSW VIC etc.

I managed to change the sql database, but the output is still only displaying two characters.

Being a very new user to xoops, and certainly no expert in php I have searched the php files in the module with no success for the fields that need changing.

Any help would be really appreciated.

hi, update the sql (two places) and uninstall/install the xdirectory module. it should work. I did the same for my website to include 3 char (NSW, VIC, etc.,)
