Is there a module to track weight loss/gain? Some kind of health module?

The guys at work here are gonna do a contest to see who hits their target weight first to get the pot of cash. I jokingly said I'll put up a website to do it and am looking for a XOOPS module to make this easy.

Where exactly? Here?

http://cbb.getituponline.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=22&forum=2

I didn't see any version numbers mentioned, and I also saw some people had trouble with it. I can give it a shot, but I don't know enough (sorry) to repair stuff if it hoses up. I'd have to figure out how to restore from a backup (also have to figure that out ) or just start the site over again. I have to convert from phpbb 2.0.8 to whatever XOOPS forum will do it the easiest/cleanest. I can upgrade phpbb first to 2.11 if necessary. I'd like to give CBB a shot since it looks like it'll have good support behind it. I just wish I knew all this better, I've already started over twice from bad conversion using various other methods found around here.

Sorry for the hijack.

Well after coming across a few more gotchas in 2.2.2 I decided hell I'll just put on the latest 2.0.x version. Had a lot of modules I wanted to use as well that only seemed to be for 2.0.x.

2.2.2 went in perfect, thanks. And big thanks to the XOOPS team for such an easy CMS for idiots like me!

My site is here:http://www.mcnology.com/xoops/html/index.php

A little background info. I host with GoDaddy and they have the option to autoinstall XOOPS 2.0.7 as part of their deluxe hosting. It works great, no problems. Well I did their clean install and then immediately upgraded to 2.2.3. I got the error mentioned elsewhere (authfactory.php), but at the time I hadn't seen that announcement. Thinking I'll try it this time as a clean install, I wiped all of it (db included) and then installed the full 2.2.3 manually. The MySQL database is installed by them, but I specify the name, username, password etc. I assume there wouldn't be an issue with XOOPS because their 2.0.7 version works flawlessly (I have another site running it and no probs for a year). Now I received the exact same error, but this time I saw the fix. The fix appeare to work and I was left with a login screen. Here's where it gets tricky. I can login, but I get "done but with errors" in the status bar of IE. As well, when I go to Preferences/System/General Settings I get this:

Fatal error: Undefined class name 'xoopslists' in /home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/xoopsform/formselectlang.php on line 73

All the other preferences links work fine, its just the General Settings one. Other links that also throw errors are these ones:

The register link on user.php gives me this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/theme.php on line 493

Resend activation e-mail link gives me this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/theme.php on line 493

Those are all that I've found so far. But as well, the main page gives me no links whatsoever. I have to manually add user.php to the end of the URL to get a login prompt to login, etc. I apologize if this is something simple that I missed, but I haven't been able to find any answers searching and I really wish I knew PHP/Xoops better to figure this out on my own. Since this is all technically a clean install, did I miss a step before hand or anything? I did make sure the permissions were properly set before the install as specified here:

https://xoops.org/modules/smartfaq/faq.php?faqid=286

If you have any ideas, I'd appreciate it. I'll keep trying to figure it out.

Don't know if you ever figured this out, but I got the same issue. I started over from scratch, but this time made sure the permissions were correct BEFORE installing as the link above shows, and it worked perfectly the second time.

EDIT: Spoke too soon. I got a login page this time but when I try to login I get this:

Fatal error: getauthconnection(): Failed opening required '/home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/auth/auth_nl2br.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/auth/authfactory.php on line 33
Warning [PHP]: getauthconnection(/home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/auth/auth_nl2br.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in file class/auth/authfactory.php line 33

When I try to register I get this:

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/content/m/c/n/mcnology/html/xoops/html/class/theme.php on line 493

I uploaded a clean copy of the full install for XOOPS 2.2.3, set the CHMOD according to the link provided above, GoDaddy.com provided the auto installed MySQL database, which appeared to work perfectly fine during XOOPS setup. Any ideas? I dont even know what other information to provide.

GoDaddy actually has an autoinstall version of XOOPS 2.0.7 that works perfectly, which tells me they are setup for XOOPS to work properly. I didn't touch it though because I wanted to just go clean with the latest one.

EDIT #2 Crap, just did a search and saw this is already been addressed. Sorry.

Looking for module recommendation

I'm doing a website for all my family and friends to get hardware buying advice. I get that many requests. So I'm basically looking for a simple module or whatever XOOPS can offer to recommend monthly buying guides probably split into a few categories (budget, mainstream, etc). Rather then installing numerous modules and messing with them all, I'm hoping someone here can recommend one they are already familiar with to save me the trouble. Thanks.

Do any of the calendar modules do any type of groupware?

As in tasks, notes, etc. I'm needing something likehttp://www.php-collab.com in a XOOPS module. Maybe even just something that does tasks, and I can use something like piCal for the calendar stuff.
