I tried to clone wf-channel module (v1.7) but after many tests
it fail (impossible to run activeperl on my computer)
I am looking for a clone already made (something like wfchannel2 or anyname).
Is it possible to found that here?

No I mean this:
exemple, module NEWS
on the first index page you can see the links for the categories you created and also the 10 last resume news updated.
It is the same on evry good module : they give you the last new articles updated or submited, etc...
always 10 !
And some modules gives the link : topten.php or the 10 best vote results.

Using and going on with the excellent module called "xyp4all", using it for managing Members in an association who can subscribe directly on the site (they are not simply Members of the site but Members (with Login & Password for the site) of the association. I have done a link for xyp4all/topten.php?hit=1 that give a perfect listing of the Members who have suscribed on the site. But only the last ten!

That is the reason I want to list all of them...And want to understand how is it possible to regulate the 10 to 20 or 40 or 100 !

I give a look to modules/system/blocks but I dis not succeed.

May be someone needs to use some module as Newbb, News or xyp4all... with the common PHP file and template associated TOPTEN.PHP & TOPTEN.HTML, with more than 10 items in the list.
May be you can have the use of listing 12,15 or more (may be the whole list).

I'have try to look in certain places on the XOOPS tree, but the place where such modification could be performed is still impossible for me to found.

Before doing a radiography of my Database, is it possible to have an answer or an idea here?

Hi,

XOOPS is very well to manage groups.
But the thing is I would like to give special rights, for exemple :
- have a private forum
- some news they are the only readers,
- some files they are allowed to see and downloads
etc..
Those special members are members.

Is it possible to have a module who allow members list to have special rights without creating a new group?
In other way is it possible to have the possibility to manage users instead of groups?

This question is about this question :
on my site, members can have all what is previously managed for them;
But for a while some of them (a working group) want to have special exanges of ideas & files in forum space, download area space, etc... and during that time they don't want to be viewed by others.

Creating a new group is boring : long time to give all rights in bloks admin area.
It would be preferable to have the opprtunity to give open vue for a special module for some members....

I hope you see what I mean... (excuse my poor english)

PS - In fact the best idea would be to take a module whitch allow sub-categories ( as forum or news or wf-section) and have a .htaccess when going in a sub-category from the index module. The member of that working group (some of the members) give the login/pass to who he want and then only the team is able to get into the sub-module.

Is anyone have done that before?

I have installed xoopsshop_v0_2b_michae_baecker

It looks pretty excellent !
I would like to connect with someone who is using the module for exanging ideas & practice.
One of the questions is : how to regulate the module with the using theme already used on the onesite you are using...

Have anyone a good practice of such module?
Is it possible to see somewhere a demo?
Do anyone knows if they are some others languages disponible?

a. I did a new installation....
b. Always the same problem in the admin interface with an instable table when I edit the forum in the CATEGORIES window
(the editing categorie goes on the right... like a broken page, but it seems to work fine )
c. a corrrigible problem more that I can manage in time, is the french translation whitch is so bad, so incomprehensible, so inexact compare with the original english one... I am a good traductor english to french, I will give my job after I did it.

But at this time this module very sophisticated dont permit to see the forums in the categories on the index page of the module.

Yes it is OK if I put the link of the forum in a block, but the result is very unpleasant...

What can I do more ?
