login problems

I am having major cookie problems with XOOPS 2.0....It works for about the first 5 minutes of the first installation and then I cant login anymore...and neither can anyone else...can you not have 2 XOOPS communities on the same ftp? I have them in seperate directories and one works fine, but the other always has cookie problems with login...I cant even access admin....please help me asap! I need a site up very quickly that works.

how do I change the main url for xoops?

I was wondering where in admin I can change the main url so that the page loads from the data inhttp://www.team-epidemic.com/clan instead ofhttp://www.team-epidemic.com.... Is there anyway I can make the db do that? If so please reply. Thanx

NewBB 2.0 category bug...

I was wondering if it is just me...or if others try to disable the showing of descriptions in the NewBB 2.0 category preferences, and it still shows up....

I tried to update my newbb to 2.0, but it still sais version 1 on the module list. Where can I upgrade my forums?

Hi,
I am new with XOOPS and I am having troubles configuring it to meet my clan sites needs.
team-epidemic.com
I wanted to make it so my news shows up on the main page.
I was also wondering how to turn notifications completely off for every user and just make them dissapear.
If you could give me examples of what files or code to edit I would greatly appreciate it.
