Hey Guys,

We have done a mayor update on the look and feel of our site Cupidvirtual.

Among others we have:

- implemented OpenID;
- added XAJAX functionality;
- redisigned the look and feel of the site.

Modules & Subdirectories

I am trying to integrate a PHP script into my profile module.
So far I have copied the script into a subdirectory of the profile module (ie \modules\profile\scriptdirectory)

Then added an include to the mainfile, header and footer. So far so good...

Now when I open the \modules\profile\scriptdirectory\index.php in my browser it show me (as an admin) the admin theme instead of my page theme (and as an user I have no permissions). I assume this has to do with the fact that the script resides in a subdirectory, but what would be the solution?

EDIT:

Solved the problem. In /kernel/module.php in the function checkAccess() there is a check wether a directory has the file './xoops_version.php' ... so a simple creation of an empty xoops_version.php in my script subdirectory did the trick

Hi Barry,

No, the MLSFriends module is depending on the profile module for it's functionality... The 2.0 versions don't use that module....

MyLatinSoulmate - Site updates

Hi guys,

Would love to hear your comments about our site www.mylatinsoulmate.com. We have been up and running since december, but the last few weeks we have implemented some updates on MyLatinSoulmate:

- Enhanced our design;
- Enhanced our FAQ (www.mylatinsoulmate.com/faq.php)
- Added a Site Map (www.mylatinsoulmate.com/sitemap.php)
- Added the Userplane Instant Messenger (Pretty cool stuff!)

and created direct links to the most wanted searches (like single women from brazil: www.mylatinsoulmate.com/brazil-women.php)

Currently we have over 3300 members and on avg about 12,000 pageviews per day!

Please check us out and let me know what you think of the site and what can be improved!

Hi All,

As MyLatinSoulmate is taking off pretty well (8000 pageviews yesterday and growing) at the moment (and takes quite a bit of my time) I haven't been able to update the MLS Friends module yet. Please bear with me for some more time, or use your own programming skills to adapt the code to your likings :)
